Terms and Conditions Furniture Hire & Staging Service Agreement The Client and StyleApart agrees to: 1. Definitions StyleApart: refers to the business providing the hired furniture and styling service. Client: refers to the Vendor and /or Representative that acts of behalf of the Client. Furnishings: refers to all items of furniture and accessories provided by StyleApart for styling purposes as per quote.
Hire Period: The agreed dates for which the furnishings will be hired, including the extension period, as stated in the Quote/Invoice to the Client. 2. Agreement Overview By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the Client agrees to: A) StyleApart to select, install and place all furnishings in the Clients property; B) StyleApart to arrange delivery of all furnishings to the property and arrange collection of all furnishings at the end of the hire period or mutually agreed by client and StyleApart in writing. C) StyleApart and its employee(s) to enter the property to undertake the installation work at all reasonable times; 3. Furniture Hire Cost and Extension Period The furnishing hire period will commence on the date specified on the quote/invoice to the Client/Representative and will continue until the agreed end date as per the quote/invoice. Full furniture hire cost must be paid in full prior to installation date as per the ‘due date’ specified on the quote/invoice to the Client. Extension Period: If an extension of the hire period is required for the furnishings, StyleApart will issue a quote/invoice, with the agreed extension period details and cost. StyleApart will liase with Client/Representative at least 2 days prior to the end date of the original hire period, to confirm if an extension hire period is required. Payment must be made 24hrs prior to the extension period commencing. 4. Condition & Care: Furnishings are provided in good, clean condition. Clients cannot modify or move the furnishings without written consent from StyleApart and must take appropriate steps to ensure the property is secured at all times and furnishings are protected from misuse, damage, or neglect during the hire period. Any damage beyond fair wear and tear will be assessed and billed accordingly. 5. Liability In the event that any furnishings are lost or stolen, the client will be responsible for covering the full replacement cost. In the event of any damage to furnishings, StyleApart will assess the damage and provide a detailed estimate for repair or replacement, if deemed outside normal ‘wear and tear’ *see below. Any damage to furnishings must be reported in writing to StyleApart as soon as noted. It is the Clients responsibility, to ensure that they are appropriately covered for contents insurance by their insurer during the hire period. Wear and Tear Policy – Apartment Staging The Client agrees to ensure all staged furnishings are treated with care during the staging period. Normal wear and tear refers to minor signs of use resulting from standard viewing and limited handling during Open for Inspections. This includes: Light surface scuffs/Minor fabric creases or cushion compression/Gentle movement-related marks from styling Excessive wear and tear or damage outside normal use is the responsibility of the Client and may result in repair or replacement charges. Examples include: Stains/water damage/rips/burns/tears in fabric or upholstery/Structural damage from misuse or rough handling. 6. Proper Use of Furnishings: Furnishings are only for property staging purposes, not for any personal use and No pets are allowed during the hire period. 7. Delivery, Collection & Installation Day StyleApart will provide the Client and their Representative with written notice of the scheduled delivery and collection dates, as outlined in the quote and/or invoice. If the property is sold prior to the end of the hire period, no refund will be issued for any unused portion of the hire term. In such cases, StyleApart will liaise with the Client and their Representative to confirm and coordinate a suitable collection date in writing. Delivery and collection are included in the total hire fee unless otherwise stated. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible for delivery and collection, including the provision of keys or access codes on the day of installation. Only StyleApart staff and authorised personnel are permitted on-site during installation. It is strongly recommended that the Client removes all personal belongings prior to installation. StyleApart accepts no liability for any loss or damage to personal items left at the property. 8. Payment An invoice will be issued when the quote has been approved by the Client and full payment to be made prior to installation date as per quote/invoice. Receipt of payment to be forward to StyleApart for confirmation of transfer to info@styleapart.com.au. Payment details will be included on Invoice. Installation will not proceed until full payment is made. 9. Cancellations Once invoice is paid in full and the furniture is delivered, no refunds will be given for early termination of the hire period. If cancellation of service is required prior to installation of furnishings, client must give 7 days notice before installation date in writing for 100% refund. 10. Termination of Agreement StyleApart reserves the right to terminate this agreement and retrieve the furniture immediately if the Client Breaches any of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of early termination by StyleApart due to breach, the Client remains responsible for full payment of the hire fees and any additional charges incurred. 11. Use & Liability Disclaimer The Client agrees to use the hired furnishings at their own risk. StyleApart shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, loss, claim, or defect arising from the use or hire of the furnishings. The Client further agrees to indemnify and hold StyleApart harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from the use or hire of the furnishings. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they have appropriate contents insurance coverage in place for the duration of the hire period. 12. Photography and Videography Rights StyleApart reserves the right to photograph and record video footage of its styling work at the property. All rights to these images and recordings remain the exclusive property of StyleApart. These materials may be used for a range of purposes, including but not limited to marketing, promotional content and social media. Where professional photography of the styled property has been arranged and paid for by the Client or their Representative, the Client grants StyleApart permission to use such images for marketing and promotional purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the photographer if required by the Client. If the Client does not wish for images or videos of the property to be used for external purposes, they must notify StyleApart in writing by emailing: info@styleapart.com.au prior to the installation date.
