Terms and Conditions - Style Apart

Total Presentation Cost:

  • The initial 8-week hire is $2,100.00 (including GST).

  • Subsequent hire: $210.00 per week.

Hire Period:

  • Minimum hire is 4 weeks, followed by a complimentary 4-week extension. The complimentary period starts only after the paid 4 weeks.

  • If the property is sold during the hire period, Style Apart reserves the right to remove furniture before the complimentary period ends.

Delivery & Pickup:

  • The vendor/hirer or selling agent must provide full name and address for invoicing. Payment is required at least 3 working days before delivery.

  • Style Apart will schedule delivery and pickup at their convenience. If access isn’t provided at the agreed time, additional hire charges apply.

Payment:

  • Full payment is required 3 working days prior to delivery. Interest on overdue payments is 2% per month, compounding daily. Any overdue recovery costs (including legal fees) will be borne by the hirer.

Furniture and Accessories:

  • The furniture and accessories must not be moved without written consent from Style Apart and must remain in the hirer's possession.

  • Any damage to hired items will be charged to the hirer, covering repair, cleaning, or replacement costs. Payment for damages is due within 48 hours of notice.

Insurance:

  • Style Apart insures furniture against theft if visible damage shows forced entry. The hirer must cover replacement costs if the loss is not covered by insurance.

  • In case of a claim, an excess and admin fee of $1,800.00 applies, payable immediately. Insurance does not cover the contents of the vendor/hirer’s property.

Picture Hooks:

  • Artworks are hung using standard hooks and nails. If the vendor/hirer does not want hooks used, they must notify Style Apart in writing 72 hours before installation.

  • Hooks will remain after furniture removal, and Style Apart is not responsible for removing them or repairing walls.

Changes:

  • Requests for changes to furniture/accessories will incur an additional fee, payable before any modifications take place. Changes are subject to availability and the original hire period remains unchanged.

Liability:

  • Style Apart is not liable for property damage or personal injury during installation or removal of furniture and accessories. The hirer indemnifies Style Apart against any claims related to the use or malfunction of the goods.

Quote Validity:

  • This quote is valid for 7 working days and items are subject to availability.
